Is it still competitive?

It's very competitive. We think competition is good for kids. And they love it. By competing, they put their skills to the test. They challenge themselves and learn from others. Being part of a team and working together to achieve something is an experience all children should have.

But it's the kids, not the adults, that are competing. It's great watching your child play. But it's easy to forget why you're there. Soon parents are yelling instructions and howling with disappointment at kids' mistakes. Then come the tears, the arguments and the confrontations.

So, while it's ultra-competitive on the pitch, Positive Play means that it stays calm on the touchline.
