The League is very fortunate to have the FA's Bill Prendergast as our Expert Advisor for Positive Play.

Bill is one of the UK's leading names in youth football. As Director of Crewe Alexandra's famous Youth Academy and while heading up the Junior Academy at Manchester City he was responsible for developing young players including Dean Ashton and Rob Hulse.

Now he works for the FA, training the next generation of youth coaches and is working with leagues such as ours to spread the principles of Positive Play. He says, "I want parents and coaches to calm down, stop shouting instructions and let the kids express themselves."

Bill holds both the prestigious UEFA 'A' License and the coveted 'Pro' License.
