The FA supports Positive Play

We fully endorse The FA's guidelines for Positive Play in Mini-Soccer and we will follow these to the letter...
  • Played in a fun and friendly atmosphere
  • Start with 4v4 and rise through 5v5 and 6v6 to 7v7
  • It's for all children, regardless of ability
  • Plenty of praise and positive reinforcement is needed
  • No interference from the touchline
  • Pressure from the sidelines needs to stop
  • Work with other adults, not against them
  • It's a game that children can organise themselves
  • It should encourage fair play and respect for others
  • Leagues where results are collected not sanctioned
The FA's new Respect campaign reinforces Positive Play by setting standards of behaviour for adults and children.
